Altum are recruiting for a personable and highly organised Finance Administrator to join a charity on a part‑time temporary basis. This is a varied finance administration role supporting the Finance & Commercial team across expenses, invoicing, banking administration, corporate accounts and general team processes.
The role would suit someone bubbly, proactive and confident chasing stakeholders for information. You do not need double‑entry accounting experience or prior finance systems knowledge, but you should be comfortable using Excel, working accurately with data, and keeping on top of multiple administrative tasks.
The role is part‑time with flexible hours available. Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, although there may be some flexibility. There is also potential for the role to become permanent in the future.
Responsibilities
Monitoring shared finance inboxes and ensuring queries are passed to the right team members
Processing expense claims and checking they are submitted in line with policy
Supporting with supplier invoices and other
