Job Description We are partnering with a well-established events business delivering high-quality experiences, to recruit a proactive Assistant Accountant. This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, event finance, and operational support, making it well-suited to someone looking to develop their career in a dynamic environment. You will contribute to the accuracy of financial information, support key processes such as month-end, and work closely with operational teams to ensure financial performance is effectively monitored. Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes, including billing, credit control and reconciliations. Manage daily banking, treasury and intra-group reconciliations. Support month-end close, management accounts, forecasting and long-term planning. Assist with statutory accounts, audit and Group reporting. Liaise with internal teams to resolve financial queries and ensure accurate, timely reporting. Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) or actively studying Strong understanding of core accounting principles Previous experience in a fast-paced or project-based environment is desirable Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting systems This role offers an excellent opportunity for a developing finance professional to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of accounting and commercial activities within the events industry.
