Permanent, full-time hybrid working with visits to client site or London office as required. Altum Consulting is partnering a highly successful medium-sized specialist HR change and transformation consultancy who provide top HR operating model and cultural change specialists, alongside market leaders in the delivery of progressive HR technologies, to give their clients a flexible, bespoke service to help them solve their HR business and technology challenges. In this role you will work on HR transformation projects with FTSE250 clients across a variety of industries. Your primary focus will be to support HR transformation projects and your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Analysing data regarding a client’s current HR challenges (structures, costs, pain points etc.);
  • Conducting desk-based research;
  • Preparing and delivering content for workshops or presentations;
  • Facilitating workshops and client discussions;
  • Project management coordination and organisation;
  • Listening to the client’s requirements and helping provide recommendations based on data and insights;
  • Building a strong day-to-day relationship with client team members;
  • Continuously improving the tools/templates/methodologies used on client projects;
  • Conducting research into leading market trends;
  • Helping develop new tools and thinking to take to clients as part of pitches and relationship development;
  • Sharing experiences and points of view to shape market eminence and build team capability;
  • Supporting with writing case studies/project summaries for projects worked on;
  • Providing generalist support to the development of sales proposals to help win new work.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Comes from a consultancy background;
  • Has worked on HR transformation/change projects, including delivery of new HR technology;
  • Enjoys problem solving;
  • Is passionate about HR and keeps up to date with emerging trends (e.g. talent management, employee experience, people strategy, the impact of artificial intelligence on ways of working);
  • Takes pride in delivering high quality work and enjoys being part of a team;
  • Is curious and keen to stretch their thinking to drive personal development;
  • Has experience of managing team members to oversee the quality of work produced;
  • Is flexible, as there may be requirements to spend time onsite with clients and colleagues to support project delivery/internal activities.
