Altum Consulting are partnering with a large media business to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant for an initial 12-month fixed term contract. This role will suit a technically strong Big 4 trained qualified accountant to support across financial reporting, audit readiness, and technical accounting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership of head office accounting including actuals, budget and forecast for a cost base of circa Β£20m
- Preparation and provision of financial information for tax and audit requirements
- Acting as a key liaison with AR/AP teams to manage invoices, oversee intercompany recharges, and coordinate netting arrangements
- Review and aggregation of month-end reporting packages from European markets
- Review of market balance sheets to ensure correct accounting treatment
- Supporting divisional balance sheet submissions to US head office
- Ownership of divisional SOX reporting requirements
- Providing feedback and support to local market finance teams
- Managing transfer pricing charge-outs
- Supporting a range of ad hoc finance projects as required
Candidate Profile
- ACA qualified (or equivalent), trained within a Big 4 firm
- 2+ years' PQE
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
