Delivery Consultant (Change & Transformation)
Location: London
Working pattern: Hybrid working, with 3 days per week in the London office
Altum Consulting is looking to appoint a Delivery Consultant to join its growing Change & Transformation team.
Context
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career recruitment professional who enjoys the candidate-focused side of recruitment and wants to develop specialist expertise within a growing market. You will join one of Altum’s top-performing teams, working alongside some of the business’s most successful consultants, who have strong track records and established client relationships.
Working closely with consultants across both interim and permanent assignments, you will take ownership of the end-to-end candidate delivery process. You will work primarily with the Change & Transformation team during an exciting period of growth.
This is a delivery-focused position rather than a traditional 360 recruitment role. Business development will not be a core requirement, but you will be encouraged to develop your commercial awareness, identify leads and share valuable market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Taking job briefs and developing a clear understanding of each role’s requirements
- Conducting market mapping and candidate research
- Sourcing and engaging active and passive candidates
- Screening and qualifying candidates based on their experience, motivation, availability and salary or day-rate expectations
- Producing high-quality candidate shortlists
- Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interview preparation, feedback and offer management
- Building long-term candidate relationships and specialist networks
- Developing strong market knowledge across the Change & Transformation space
- Identifying leads and sharing relevant market intelligence with consultants
- Collaborating with consultants to prioritise searches and manage delivery across multiple assignments
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM
- Supporting job advertising, compliance and onboarding
You will also gain exposure to clients, enabling you to develop a deeper understanding of their organisations, transformation programmes and resourcing requirements.
Experience and Skills
You will likely have 2+ years’ recruitment experience, along with:
- Experience in recruitment delivery, resourcing and/or candidate management
- Experience supporting permanent, contract or fixed-term assignments
- Experience sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals and existing networks
- Strong candidate qualification and relationship-management skills
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to connect candidate activity with wider market opportunities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and confidence in maintaining accurate CRM records
- A proactive, collaborative and professional approach
- An interest in developing specialist knowledge within Change & Transformation
Previous Change & Transformation recruitment experience is not essential. More important is your ability to build credible candidate relationships, deliver effectively across multiple assignments and develop a strong understanding of the market.
Development
You will receive hands-on training and support from experienced, high-performing consultants. The role will provide exposure to successful recruitment practices, established client relationships and a strong flow of assignments.
As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will have opportunities to deepen your specialist expertise, broaden your responsibilities and progress within Altum Consulting.
Altum Consulting is committed to creating an inclusive working environment and welcomes applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
