With a presence across the world's major financial centres and a client base that includes multinational corporations, financial institutions, governments and leading global businesses, this firm is consistently recognised for delivering advice on some of the most complex and high-profile matters in the market. 1x Conflicts Advisor 1x Senior Conflicts Advisor Working as part of an international team spanning Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, you'll play a key role in protecting the firm's commercial and regulatory interests by assessing new client and matter instructions, identifying potential conflicts of interest and advising senior stakeholders on complex risk matters.
This is a highly analytical position that combines legal knowledge, commercial awareness and stakeholder management, offering exposure to some of the world's largest cross-border transactions and disputes.
Key Responsibilities Review new clients and matters to identify legal and commercial conflicts of interest.
Analyse complex conflict searches using internal and external research tools.
Advise partners and senior lawyers on conflicts, confidential information and information barrier requirements.
Assess wider business risks including reputational, sanctions and financial crime considerations.
Work closely with specialist Financial Crime teams on matter risk assessments.
Collaborate with international colleagues to deliver a seamless global conflicts service.
Support the continuous improvement of conflicts processes, technology and risk management initiatives.
Build strong relationships with legal teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Experience Required A Law degree or equivalent Experience working within a legal risk, conflicts or compliance function, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
A solid understanding of conflicts of interest and confidential information principles.
Excellent analytical and investigative skills with strong attention to detail.
Commercial awareness and confidence communicating with senior stakeholders.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exposure to US conflicts would be advantageous but is not essential.
