Altum Consulting are partnering with a leading retail business to appoint an experienced Commercial Finance Manager on an interim basis. Working closely with senior commercial and operational stakeholders, you will provide high-quality financial insight, improve performance visibility and support key strategic decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance reporting
- Partner with stakeholders across trading, operations and wider commercial teams
- Analyse sales, margin, pricing, promotions and cost performance
- Identify risks and opportunities, providing clear and practical recommendations
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Improve reporting, processes and the quality of management information
- Support business cases, investment decisions and transformation projects
Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering experience within retail, consumer or another fast-paced environment. You will be commercially minded, comfortable challenging stakeholders and able to translate complex financial information into clear business insight.
