Project Overview
Partnering with a Real Estate organisation which has outgrown its existing ERP platform and is currently implementing D365 Finance & Operations - supported by a specialist property management solution. This transformation programme provides an opportunity to establish target operating models, address current inefficiencies, define a robust data governance framework, and support organisational design improvements. The programme is progressing at pace, with a well-known consultancy acting as the systems implementation partner. While the partner provides solution options, the organisation requires practical, hands-on guidance and actionable recommendations to ensure successful delivery. The successful candidate will complement the existing finance capability by providing equivalent-quality, best-practice insight on the real estate side of the ERP implementation.
Role Overview
The organisation is seeking an experienced Real Estate Business Analyst to produce comprehensive documentation supporting the successful implementation of the ERP solution. The core responsibility of the role is to create detailed process documentation for core process areas, policies, and standard operating procedures that define the future ("To Be") ways of working enabled by the new technology. You will work closely with Process Owners, SMEs, and senior leadership to define/document future operating models.
Main Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality process documentation including:
- Policies
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Risk & Control Matrices (RACMs)
- Process flow diagrams
- Property and unit setup
- Tenant billing
- Service charge processes
- Alignment with industry best practice
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document complex processes and policies.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and identification of gaps or ambiguities.
- Proven experience in process mapping and documentation, including use of Visio.
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to break down processes, identify risks, and define controls.
- Ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven experience within the real estate sector. Able to define and document best-practice real estate processes.
- Experience with D365 (Finance & Operations) implementation projects/programmes is essential.
- Experience with specialist property management solutions; Systems like Yardi, Yavica, similar cloud property management systems is highly desirable.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with high expectations on quality and delivery.
