Are you an experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about driving meaningful, people-focused change? Do you enjoy solving complex problems, improving services and helping organisations work smarter? We are partnering with a highly regarded not-for-profit organisation looking for a highly collaborative Business Analyst to join their transformation team.
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and delivering change across a variety of strategic and operational initiatives. You will work closely with diverse stakeholder groups to understand business needs, redesign processes, and ensure change is embedded effectively and sustainably.
Key Results- Examine proposed changes from every angle - including people impacts, workflow adjustments, system implications and data needs.
- Draw out, clarify and record what the business needs in order to shape new or improved services.
- Process maps the 'as is' and 'to be', perform gap analysis, support change impact assessments and support development of programme roadmaps for delivering change.
- Illustrate current ways of working and future desired states, identify the differences, and support assessments on what the changes will mean for teams and customers.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure new practices are adopted effectively and changes become part of everyday business activity.
- Work collaboratively with IT and other enabling teams to ensure change is delivered smoothly and is embedded in a sustainable way.
- Contribute to defining success measures for change initiatives and support the ongoing approach to tracking benefits across the organisation.
- Change activities are thoroughly analysed with clear and validated business needs.
- Services and processes are refined, redesigned or updated where improvements are identified.
- Clear benefits and measurable outcomes are established for each change initiative.
- Strong, trusting working relationships are built with stakeholders at all levels.
- Active, constructive participation in the wider transformation and project teams.
You will be someone who brings confidence and professionalism to your work, able to remain composed and influence positively even in fast-moving or pressured situations. Focused on the needs of residents and customers, ensuring they remain central to decisions and design. Naturally collaborative, open to new thinking and an effective communicator. Skilled at facilitating discussions, presenting complex ideas simply and applying sound analytical thinking.
You will have:- Ideally, experience within the housing association sector.
- Demonstrable experience performing the Business Analyst role from early concept through to delivery and implementation.
- A background supporting a mix of large-scale strategic changes and more targeted operational improvements.
- Experience using a wide toolkit of business analysis methods across both agile and traditional delivery environments.
- Strong capability in creating high-quality analysis outputs, including user-focused requirements, process documentation and structured business analysis deliverables.
