Are you ready to take the next step in your career and make a real difference? We\’re looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the high-impact, mission-driven team at one of the UK\’s leading cancer charities. The role will partner the Corporate Services Directorate, performing month-end tasks and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This opportunity is ideal for a someone in the early stages of their accountancy exams with a strong foundation in finance, to gain more exposure to management accounts production and working with non-finance stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Support monthly forecasting and management reporting

Partner with managers to analyse and improve financial performance

Liaise with internal teams and external partners on income and expenditure matters

Ensure accurate payroll and balance sheet reconciliations

Contribute to budgeting and process improvements

Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills

Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software

Comfortable working both independently and in a team

Proactive and adaptable to changing priorities
- Actively studying for an accountancy qualification; ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA
