Accounts Administrator | £30-32k | Permanent | Hybrid (2 days in London office)
Altum are supporting an international membership body in the search for a proactive and motivated Accounts Administrator. This would be a busy role in the finance team ensuring accurate posting across the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables function and supporting the wider team at the Association. The role will operate on a hybrid function with 2 days in their Central London office (Thursday & Friday).
Responsibilities will include;
- Performing bank/cashbook reconciliations and investigating unreconciled items
- Uploading relevant payments and processing credit card transactions
- Act as a key point of contact across the organisation to investigate and resolve outstanding balances
- Processing all payments and monitoring bank accounts
- Maintaining the finance email inboxes and elevate any client queries
- Ensuring accuracy of all transactions processed
- Coding and posting of all purchase and sales ledger transactions
- Supporting with the organisation's Annual Conference on various financial matters
The ideal candidate will;
- Ideally someone working towards a finance qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA etc)
- Have some experience of working in a financial function, ideally within Accounts Payable
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Be a proactive and motivated individual
- Have strong communication skills
- Be flexible and willing to learn new skills
