I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Project Accountant (Revenue) to join a growing international technology business for an initial 6-month assignment. This is a project-focused role taking ownership of a key piece of work to review, strengthen and standardise IFRS 15 revenue recognition across a complex international organisation.
The role will include:
- Leading a review of existing IFRS 15 revenue recognition policies and processes
- Reviewing complex customer contracts, commercial terms and revenue recognition treatment
- Identifying revenue risks, inconsistencies and areas for remediation
- Establishing clear and consistent revenue recognition policies across the group
- Partnering with FP&A, Commercial Finance and Financial Controllers globally
- Improving revenue processes, controls and reporting
- Supporting the transition of P&L ownership into local entities
- Working alongside an ongoing NetSuite implementation and finance transformation
- Working across multiple international entities, with international travel required
What I'm looking for:
- Strong hands-on IFRS 15 / revenue recognition experience - essential
- Experience reviewing and interpreting complex customer contracts
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a commercial and pragmatic mindset
- Experience working across international entities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Technology, software or telecoms experience would be highly advantageous
- Immediately available or available at short notice
6-month initial contract | Outside IR35 | Predominantly remote with occasional London and international travel
