Interim Financial Controller | £500-£600 per day (Outside IR35) | Immediate Start | London | Hybrid
Altum Consulting are partnering with a leading international FMCG business headquartered in the Netherlands to appoint an experienced Interim Business Controller to support its Dutch operations during a period of transformation and growth.
The business operates across multiple international sites and markets, making this a great opportunity for someone with strong financial control experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, multi-site environment and taking ownership from day one.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:

Ownership of the month-end close, delivering accurate reporting within a 5-day close

Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining a strong financial control environment

Working closely with FP&A and wider Finance stakeholders across the international business

Partnering with teams across Payroll, HR and the wider organisation

Supporting the Dutch entity through an ongoing finance restructure and period of change

Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes, controls and ways of working

Providing strong financial oversight across a complex, multi-site international environment

Supporting the wider Finance function as the business continues to transform and grow
You will ideally have:

ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent accounting qualification

7+ years post-qualified experience

Experience working with or supporting a Dutch entity

Experience within an FMCG, retail or similarly fast-paced multi-site business
-
Dutch language skills would be a strong advantage, but are not essential

Exposure to inventory accounting would also be advantageous
