Altruistiq is an enterprise SaaS that enables the world’s leading consumer packaged goods companies to have a positive impact on the world. Our platform underpins a growing suite of applications and services and has rapidly emerged as a category leader in environmental sustainability. We are building a world class sales team to help us win new logos, and are looking for entrepreneurial Account Executives who want to change the world.
This is a fast-paced startup environment, and we expect our Account Executives to be able to support a commercial process end to end. We will be honest: this role will be demanding, and at times highly stressful. It also promises to be uniquely rewarding for those that meaningfully contribute to creating an exceptional business.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue generation by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business, playing across the full commercial funnel with a startup mindset.
- Manage a land and expand model where the opportunity arises, including supporting the delivery and expansion of pilot programs.
- Effectively and persuasively communicate via email, virtual meetings, and in-person meetings with C-Suite decision makers at Fortune 500 companies.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure the availability of the latest thinking, product functionality, and onboarding support for potential customers, avoiding the creation of sales silos.
- Build and expand the sales playbook to support global expansion, capturing valuable materials and insights, and fostering the growth and capabilities of other team members in the organisation.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a proactive mindset, combining resourcefulness and strategic thinking to explore opportunities in sectors, geographies, partnerships, pricing, and new offerings.
- Efficiently manage processes and data systems, maintaining CRM hygiene (Salesforce), managing complex deal preparation, and driving the deal forward as the engine behind its success.
- Rapidly ramp up on our subject matter, product, customer personas, and customer needs, leaning into the challenge of a steep learning curve.
About You:
- 5-8 years of enterprise SaaS sales experience. We particularly value individuals who have a strong track record in previous organisations, and avoid individuals who have spent an average of <2 years per previous employer.
- Prior startup experience. We especially value a combination of experience across established enterprise SaaS and early/growth stage startup.
- Experience selling complex business applications with long sales cycles (>6 months), enterprise ACVs (>$100K), and a wide range of stakeholders.
- Track record selling to Fortune 500 companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector, to a combination of technical and non-technical buyers.
Our benefits include:
- Equity: we believe our team should all have a stake in the company we’re building
- A supportive culture to help you learn and develop into a better version of yourself, including a learning & development budget and policy.
- Competitive compensation package.
- Private health and dental insurance for you and your partner/family.
- New joiner budget for equipment to set up your office.
- Generous pension contribution.
- Uncapped holiday policy.
- Flexible working, remote-first environment.
- Cycle scheme.
- Annual events to spend time together as a team.
- Working in a diverse, feedback-driven organisation, decentralised decision-making enabling everyone to weigh in, offering lots of freedom, impact, as well as responsibility.
At Altruistiq we believe a diverse team is a better team.
We welcome you to apply, and if there are accommodations that can be made to make the application and interview process more accessible for you please just get in touch. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
