At Altro, we are proud to be a leading manufacturer of high performance flooring and wall cladding solutions. We are now looking for an experienced and people‑focused European Industrialisation Manager to help shape how our products move from technical development into successful, reliable manufacturing across our European operations in the UK and Germany. This is a senior technical leadership role with responsibility for building manufacturing capability, improving production processes, supporting sustainability initiatives and leading a skilled team. It is a hybrid role: you will work from the Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire Head Office for three days a week and travel regularly to our Altro Germany facility in Dessau.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as the key link between our Product Development and Manufacturing teams, ensuring new products and manufacturing improvements can be successfully introduced into our production lines.
- Leading a team of technical specialists and working closely with colleagues across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Sustainability and Product Development to solve problems, improve processes and support Altro’s future growth.

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone with a strong background in manufacturing, industrialisation, process improvement or technical engineering, who enjoys working across teams and developing people. You will ideally have:
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science or a related discipline
- Significant experience in manufacturing, process development, industrialisation or product scale‑up
- Experience taking products, materials or processes from development into operational production
- Experience leading and developing technical or engineering teams
- A strong track record of problem solving, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement
- The ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non‑technical audiences
- A practical, collaborative and delivery‑focused approach
