Overview

Job Title: Technical Clerk

Date: 11 Sept 2025

Location: Middlesbrough

Hours per week: 22.5 hours (over 3 days)

Contract: Fixed term (Initially 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within the technical and engineering department.
  • Acquire anomalies data from the Plant Condition Management System (PCMS) and update the Mechanical and Civil Anomalies Registers.
  • Raise requests in SAP for repairs/maintenance/further inspections.
  • Create change requests in SAP for planned maintenance activities (dates, frequencies, addition/removal).
  • Monitor the Master Vessel Register to track and highlight overdue inspections to the Inspection Team Lead.
  • Attend meetings as dictated by the inspection requirements.
  • Provide support and assistance for the on-site Asset Integrity Team as required.

Requirements

  • Experience of working within systems and procedures.
  • High level of computer literacy including experience of database entries (SAP essential).
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Team worker/welcoming approach.
  • Technical knowledge (preferred).
