Overview
Job Title: Technical Clerk
Date: 11 Sept 2025
Location: Middlesbrough
Hours per week: 22.5 hours (over 3 days)
Contract: Fixed term (Initially 6 months)
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operations within the technical and engineering department.
- Acquire anomalies data from the Plant Condition Management System (PCMS) and update the Mechanical and Civil Anomalies Registers.
- Raise requests in SAP for repairs/maintenance/further inspections.
- Create change requests in SAP for planned maintenance activities (dates, frequencies, addition/removal).
- Monitor the Master Vessel Register to track and highlight overdue inspections to the Inspection Team Lead.
- Attend meetings as dictated by the inspection requirements.
- Provide support and assistance for the on-site Asset Integrity Team as required.
Requirements
- Experience of working within systems and procedures.
- High level of computer literacy including experience of database entries (SAP essential).
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Be able to work to tight deadlines.
- Team worker/welcoming approach.
- Technical knowledge (preferred).
