Start date: Dependent on CTC clearance status
Salary: NAECI rates £22.44 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Ascertain job requirements from drawings or other specifications.
- Select length of stainless steel, steel alloy, iron, or plastic piping and to cut it to the required size with hacksaw, pipe cutter or machine.
- Prepare and position pipework and flanges for subsequent welding, alignment orientation, gaps, spacing, straightness whilst welding and arc welding.
- Bend piping by machine
- Join metal piping by thread cutting and screwing.
- Join plastic piping by cementing
- Check pipe preparations, alignment, straightness and dimensional accuracy.
- Install prefabricated sections on site.
- Trained and operate trade required machinery.
- Adhere to all safety requirements including safety checks of tools and equipment.
- Use all relevant workshops/site equipment associated with job requirements including all relevant training/certification requirement
Key requirements:
- Approved Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3
- CCNSG Safety Passport
- To be CTC cleared or willing to undertake CTC vetting
- Travelling labour considered – must be flexible to travel around the EDF Fleet of stations
