You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing resource strategies that support the delivery of one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the UK – Hinkley Point C (HPC) – and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You’ll be the strategic link between people planning and project delivery.
  • You’ll design and implement resource management strategies across JV Partners and Client Organisations, ensuring full integration and alignment.
  • You’ll coordinate the allocation of skilled labour between HPC and other business areas – ensuring the right people are in the right place, at the right time.
  • You’ll minimise resource waste and maximise value through efficient planning and forecasting.
  • You’ll identify and mitigate resourcing risks, developing robust contingency plans to ensure delivery resilience.
  • You’ll engage regularly with key stakeholders, ensuring clear, transparent communication and alignment with evolving project demands.
  • You’ll foster strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to support delivery and promote long-term growth.
  • You’ll champion knowledge sharing and collaboration, setting up effective forums across the Nuclear New Build Business Unit.
  • You’ll supply Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies to enhance productivity and client satisfaction.
  • You’ll uphold the highest standards of safety, creating safe environments for your teams and colleagues.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:

We’re looking for someone who not only understands the numbers and logistics of resource planning but also knows how to bring people together around a shared goal.

Experience & Skills:
  • You have hands-on experience in commercial systems, forecasting, estimating, and contract management.
  • You have working knowledge of safety legislation and procedures, with a proven track record in safety leadership.
  • You have practical understanding of labour agreements, industrial relations, and multi-disciplinary engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical).
  • You have a strong grasp of continuous improvement tools and principles, with a drive for efficiency and quality.
  • You have excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills – you’re approachable, credible, and confident.
  • You have proven ability to lead performance management initiatives and drive business improvement.
  • Ideally, you’re familiar with the unique demands of nuclear professionalism.
  • You’re technologically savvy – confident using business systems and tools to drive decisions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • You have a Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or equivalent.
  • You have a full UK Driving Licence.
  • You’re willing to travel regularly, often at short notice.
  • You’re able to support projects across multiple locations.
  • You have demonstrable client-facing experience with a strong commercial acumen.
  • You have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • You must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance.
