The role of Environmental Manager at Altrad is high-impact and multi-dimensional, nestled within a vital infrastructure programme linked to the nuclear industry. You’d be shaping sustainability, compliance, and environmental excellence across the entire project lifecycle — from design all the way to construction and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Environmental Management Systems
- Liaise with key stakeholders like government bodies and internal teams
- Oversee environmental compliance during pre-construction and construction
- Promote sustainability among Project Managers and contractors
- Conduct environmental audits and incident reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in environmental management, especially in civil works
- Familiarity with ISO14001, EIA, BREEAM, CEEQUAL, etc.
- Marine and terrestrial regulation expertise in Scotland
- Strong documentation and report writing skills
- Flexible, proactive, and professional with sharp communication
