Who are we? We are a female-founded scale-up, currently made up of around 100 AltoVitians. Our fully-remote team hails from 26 different countries and collectively speaks 29 languages. Our Client Development team plays a vital role as trusted advisors and partners to our clients. AltoVita’s technology provides a cloud-based bridge between the highly fragmented property distribution system and multinational Global 2000 companies. A proprietary two-way API integration with a standardised sourcing process reduces the legacy, inefficient 48-to-72-hour bidding process down to a few minutes, saving valuable time and money. Role Description

  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and coordinate delivery across stakeholders.
    • Analyse profit and loss performance and investigate key variances.
    • Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements, including group reporting.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Business Partnering
    • Partner with operational teams to ensure robust processes, training and accurate financial accounting.
    • Support business decision-making through financial analysis and insight.
    • Challenge assumptions and provide constructive financial recommendations where appropriate.
    • Present financial information and analysis to the VP of Finance to support strategic decision-making.
  • Controls & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and internal policies.
    • Manage tax compliance for the parent company and subsidiary entities.
    • Maintain and strengthen financial controls and governance processes.
    • Support internal and external audit activities.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Systems & Process Improvement
    • Maintain and utilise the ERP system (e.g. Xero, JOINN, Quickbooks).
    • Develop and enhance financial reporting using Excel and business intelligence tools.
    • Drive finance process improvements and automation where appropriate.
    • Collaborate with AltoVita’s Product team to ensure governance and compliance across new product releases.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Minimum of one year of post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Previous audit experience is desirable.
  • At least one year of industry experience.

    • Management accounting

    • UK GAAP (IFRS knowledge is desirable)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Remote work set-up with minimum bi-annual office visits.

Although we have regular touch-points throughout the week, organise off-sites in several locations, trust is essential for us to work effectively as a team.
