Responsibilities
- Prospect, forecast, and plan new business deals.
- Leverage your network to build a strong qualified pipeline in the region to deliver profitable new business into ALTOUR within the region and globally.
- Identify and thoroughly qualify leads and sales opportunities leading to closure of net new opportunities.
- Engage with ALTOUR teams from other countries in the region to collaborate and share leads.
- Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the corporate travel management platform.
- Complete Request for Proposals (RFPs), developing a compelling case to move to ALTOUR.
- Demonstrate understanding of the client’s key business drivers and pain points, focusing on the ROI in partnership with ALTOUR.
- Participate in the creation and presentation of ALTOUR’s solution engaging with internal ALTOUR teams across technology, operations, account management, etc., to support successful closing of new business.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close the sale.
- Maintain relationships with prospective clients and various stakeholders.
- Consistently follow up with prospective clients and schedule regular meetings (onsite and online).
- Build and maintain relationships with teams across our global locations.
- Maintain CRM (Salesforce) data.
- Embrace and utilize ALTOUR Sales Academy methodology.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strategic thinking.
- Prior direct sales experience in the region (minimum 7 years regional sales experience in comparable role required).
- Understanding of practices in the key driver markets within the EMEA region.
- Understanding of key travel management technologies and benefits to client programs within EMEA Region and globally.
- Proficient in Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Persistence and willingness to actively pursue business.
- Consistent and timely follow up with clients required.
- Must be organized with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Regular and dependable punctuality and attendance are required.
- Hybrid role (Office based 2 days per week or as required by the business).

- Occasional travel within the region may be required.
- Must be able to comprehend instructions, interpret documents, and apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasks.
- Job requires employee to perform basic arithmetic accurately and compute rates and percentages.
Pay And Benefits

The salary range on this job has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working. Many factors, such as years of experience, budget, etc., are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
