What you'll bring to the team: Do you thrive in a fast-paced, fun-filled environment where no two days are the same? Then we want you to help us deliver unforgettable experiences as a Hotel Porter at Alton Towers Resort! Candidates must be able to work five days out of seven.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Greet and assist guests of all ages with luggage and hotel information.
  • Assist our guests with any in-room requests such as TVs, heating/aircon units and much more.
  • Upkeep the standards of tidiness of the hotel properties and grounds to ensure everything is spotless for our guests!
  • Be a positive, helpful presence in the hotel reception and public areas - always ready with a smile.

What We're Looking For:

  • A proactive attitude and a can-do approach to solving problems.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
  • The role requires a good level of physical fitness, as it involves a significant amount of walking throughout the day.
  • Previous hotel or guest service experience is a bonus but not essential as you'll be trained on the job. It's your attitude, personality and passion that matter most!

You will also take responsibility for the safe handling of guest property, delivering it to their rooms as well as being on hand for any additional help they may need during their stay. In this role you could work in any of our amazing hotels.
