What you'll bring to the team

Location: Alton Towers Resort

Hours/Availability: Must be able to work any 5 out of 7 days. Please note that while you are applying for roles within specific home departments such as Ride Host, Retail, or other front-line teams, you may be required to support additional departments based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential, and you may be scheduled in alternative areas at certain times during the season.

About the Role: As a Ride Host, you’ll be the face of Alton Towers Resort, ensuring all our guests have a magical and safe experience. You’ll be responsible for assisting with the smooth running of our world-class rides, helping to create memories for families, friends, and thrill-seekers!

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working on our rides and attractions with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Engaging with guests to provide exceptional customer service
  • Assisting with guest queries and ensuring their needs are met
  • Managing queues, helping guests access rides safely, and ensuring everyone follows safety procedures
  • Reporting any operational issues or incidents to the operator
  • Support in daily presentational duties of our rides and attractions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Due to the nature of this role we can only accept applications from candidates 18 and over
  • Have full time availability to work any 5 out of 7 days
  • Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and willing to create a positive guest experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Ready to take on responsibility and ensure health and safety standards are met
  • Able to work by themselves and as part of a team
  • A head for heights would be beneficial
  • No previous experience is necessary! We provide full training to all team members.
