The predicted salary is between 7 - 12 £ per hour.

Please note that while you are applying for roles within specific home departments such as Ride Host, Retail, Sales & Admissions, or other front-line teams, you may be required to support additional departments based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential, and you may be scheduled in alternative areas at certain times during the season. We are currently looking for candidates who can work 5 out of 7 days.

About the Role:

Come and join us in Retail. Working in our many fantastically themed shops & Kiosks, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a truly immersive experience, delivering excellent service and offering world class merchandise. If you are hardworking, enthusiastic, and serious about fun then we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding service by assisting guests with their purchases and providing product information.
  • Operate tills and handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in stocking and replenishing shelves, ensuring products are displayed attractively and in line with brand guidelines.
  • Help maintain shop standards and appearance through creative product displays, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
  • Actively encourage guests to explore and purchase products, using knowledge of current promotions, special offers, and the benefits of various merchandise.
  • Ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff by adhering to Alton Towers Resort's safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide guests with helpful information about the resort, including attractions and facilities.

  • Guest-Focused: Prior experience in retail or hospitality is a plus, but a genuine passion for helping others is what we value most.

  • Flexible and Adaptable: Our retail areas can be dynamic, and you may be asked to work across various locations within the resort.
