What you'll bring to the team

Hotel Receptionist

Location: Alton Towers Resort

Hours/availability: 5 days out of 7 working shift patterns of an early shift 7am-3pm or a late shift 2:30pm-10:30pm

Please note that while you are applying for roles within specific home departments such as Front Office, Retail, or other front-line teams, you may be required to support additional departments based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential, and you may be scheduled in alternative areas at certain times during the season.

This role involves working a variety of shift patterns.

Applicants must be able to work 5 out of 7 days and be 18yrs and over

Early shift pattern: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Late shift pattern: 14.30pm to 10.30pm

We are currently recruiting for Receptionists to join us in the Hotels at the Alton Towers Resort, the UK's only attraction that specialises in making Britain happy!

Want to make a great big smiling first impression? In this crucial customer facing role, the Reception team alternate between our five Hotels and it's vital that the team work together as it's the guests' first and last impression that really counts. You'll be responsible for taking ownership of any guest issues, cash and key handling as well as ensuring relevant guest information gets passed to the correct department.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Due to the nature of this role we can only accept applications from candidates 18 and over
  • Flexible availability to work 5 out of 7 days with shifts of either an early shift 7am-3pm or a late shift 2:30pm-10:30pm
  • Experience in customer-facing roles
  • delivering excellent service
  • Confident handling guest queries and front desk duties
  • Strong communication skills with guests and internal teams
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with good organisational and problem-solving skills

Pay Range

Compensation between GBP £8.00/Hr.-GBP £12.71/Hr.
