Our global client base includes, among others, major private equity/institutional investors in aviation, airlines, airports, and aerospace manufacturers. We are looking for bright and talented minds to join our expanding team in London, working alongside global colleagues across our offices in Dublin, Dubai, New York, Beijing, Singapore, and Tokyo.

Associates and Senior Associates are responsible for the day‐to‐day analytical work and solution‐crafting within our team. From day one you will participate in tasks such as market research, data analysis, and building strategic recommendation reports. You will take part in exciting projects and have a direct stake in helping Alton's aviation‐sector clients. Your responsibilities will grow as you continuously hone your skillset, including use of business analytics and presentation skills to help deliver value to Alton's clients on a daily basis. Job Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of a consulting team on client engagements to gather, analyze, and interpret data in support of hypothesis testing and solution development.
  • Conduct market research, perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses (including financial model development), and author presentations and reports.
  • Contribute to the growth of the company in an entrepreneurial environment and support the development of company intellectual property.

Qualifications

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‐solving skills.
  • High level of motivation and drive for excellence.
  • High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail.
  • Comprehension of finance fundamentals and strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Desire to work in a multicultural, diverse, and team‐oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • For all offices, foreign language capabilities are a strong positive.

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative, problem‐solving, or critical reasoning discipline (e.g., finance, mathematics, engineering, statistics, philosophy, etc.) with demonstrated strong academic performance from a top educational institution.

Work Experience

Associates should have participated in a previous business‐related internship, offering skills transferable to the Associate role with Alton. Senior Associates should have 2‐5 years of aviation/aerospace industry working experience and/or relevant consultancy work experience. Candidates will also be considered with a strong background from other industries/positions offering relevant transferable skills (e.g., investment banking, management consulting).

Travel

Some domestic and/or international travel may be associated with selected engagements.
