Financial Controller

We are seeking a commercial, strategic, and meticulous Financial Controller to champion the financial health, governance, and sustained growth of our international business. Leading an accomplished finance team, you will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, transforming complex financial data into actionable insights that guide executive decisions. We are looking to recruit for this role either in Esher, UK, or Cape Town, SA.
What we're looking lor
Essential
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent international qualification).
- Substantial leadership experience across management accounting and financial control within a high-growth or international environment.
- Proven track record of empowering, coaching, and developing high-performing finance professionals.
- Deep expertise in FRS 102, statutory reporting, and corporate tax/VAT compliance.
- Strong technical aptitude with advanced financial modelling skills and modern ERP/accounting platforms.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence across all levels.
Desirable
- Experience navigating multi-entity group structures and cross-border currency exposure.
- Knowledge of global reward schemes, international tax compliance, and overseas operations.
