As a Domain Consultant for cloud native security, you will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure a customer's key business imperatives. You evangelize our industry‐leading cloud security solutions, establishing Palo Alto Networks as a customer's cybersecurity partner of choice.

Impact
  • Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your specialization area.
  • Present to customers as an expert at all levels, from practitioner to senior leadership.
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact for Cloud Security, responding to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition.
  • Scope and lead Proof of Value (PoV) projects, ensuring technical win in your opportunities.
  • Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates within your specialization area.
  • Discuss and highlight product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation.
  • Architect solutions that help customers strengthen and simplify their security posture.
  • Accelerate technical validation of proposed solutions within your specialization.
  • Document high‐level design and key use cases to ensure proper implementation and value realization.
  • Help customers build and develop services around Cortex Cloud.
  • Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape.
  • Discuss competitive offers with credibility, positioning ours as the best alternative.
  • Position Palo Alto Networks or partner‐delivered services appropriately to ensure proper implementation and value realization.
  • Initiate projects to improve team performance.
  • Implement organizational policies and help others adopt them.
  • Act as a conduit for customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D to create product features for our customers.
Experience
  • 6+ years of technical sales or equivalent experience, highly preferred.
  • Hands‐on experience with IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM, GCP Deployment Manager, etc.) and CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.).
  • Experience with Alicloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud – configuration and administration of security features and services (IAM, networking, firewalls, encryption).
  • Deep experience in one or more cloud security areas such as Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, AI‐SPM; background in security domain or cloud security highly preferred.
  • Understanding of container and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
  • Field‐sales position with travel to support in‐person customer meetings.
