YOUR NEW ROLE
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, this opportunity will see you identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work. You will provide strategies to address these factors in practice.
- Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
- Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
- Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling.
- Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.
WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN
- AHPRA registration as a Provisional Psychologist (5+1 or 4+2 internship) supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or ASORC membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Current drivers’ licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
- Full working rights in Australia.
