The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.
Responsible for visiting potential clients and appraising their business/company, presenting the services of the Altius Group and selling the features and benefits, negotiating terms and winning instructions in line with Company targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To visit clients businesses, appraising and assessing their saleability and value.
- To present the services of the Altius Group.
- To negotiate marketing fees and terms of business and ultimately gaining the clients instructions for our company to act as a broker/agent in the sale of their company.
- To achieve and exceed company targets.
- To generate leads for additional business services as per company strategy (e.g. energy).
- To provide the Negotiators at Head Office with an accurate and detailed business appraisal and quality write-up (and photos where applicable) for each instruction, within agreed timescales.
- All instructions are in line with gatekeeper process.
- To win corporate sales instructions and produce all information in line with Company guidelines and deadlines.
- To generate additional business through professional contacts and networking within your territory.
- Actively drive career progression and self-growth.
- To ensure that your performance level is in line with your Key Performance Indicators.
- Contribute ideas positively which will deliver improved performance for the business.
The role profile and list of responsibilities is not exhaustive, will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business. The post holder will be expected to participate in this process, and we would aim to reach agreement to the changes.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- Proven track record of sales ability.
- Proven record of delivering KPIs and targets in a busy sales environment.
- The ability to present to clients using influencing skills with experience of leading key and complex negotiations.
- The ability to communicate with all key stakeholders, employees and clients both internally and externally to the organisation.
- Proven track record of organising, planning and management skills.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Prepared to work on an individual basis but also contribute to the success of the overall team.
- Must be flexible with a can-do attitude.
- Required to travel as part of the role, with occasional overnight accommodation.
- Clean driving licence.
Desirable:
- Relevant estate agency or business transfer experience preferred, although full training will be provided.
- Ability to understand Financial Statements and profit drivers of a business.
- Record of success within sales/customer care environment.
- Experience in all aspects of Business Transfer.
- Results driven with previous evidence of exceeding targets in a sales environment.
