About the Role:
The Sales Contract Manager plays a pivotal role in enabling our Sales teams. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process for the completion, execution, and oversight of sales contracts and associated documentation. This includes working cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, and Information Security to ensure all contracts are compliant and aligned with company policies.
A Day in The Life of Our Sales Contract Manager:
- Coordinate the drafting, review, approval, and execution of all sales contractual documentation with Sales, Legal, Finance, HR, Operations, Information Security, and other relevant business stakeholders.
- Coordinate responses to customer forms and questionnaires pertaining to ESG and compliance requirements, representations and certifications, and similar topics.
- Educate and support Sales teams on Contract Management processes and on managing sales agreements in accordance with Altium’s policies.
- Maintain the contracts repository, contract templates, and Contract Management team documentation and materials.
- Identify opportunities to continually enhance and automate processes to scale effectively and reduce risk.
- Participate in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and related systems improvement projects.
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or a similar function, preferably in a fast-paced, international B2B environment.
- You possess a solid understanding of commercial contracting principles, including NDAs, MSAs, licensing and SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and compliance-related documentation.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- You have hands-on experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools and Salesforce, and a passion for improving systems and workflows.
- You are an excellent communicator and collaborator, skilled at working cross-functionally to drive alignment and proactively resolve issues.
