Our client is a highly ambitious UK based early-stage venture developing advanced processing and networking hardware solutions for High Performance Computing applications. The company is looking to appoint an experienced technical leader with a track record of taking high performance processor board development projects from concept to production. The role will involve leading and growing a multidisciplined engineering team spanning: hardware, embedded systems, optical, software and mechanical design.
To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and industry background:
- Ideally 10 yearsβ experience in electronics engineering and leadership, with a strong technical background in system and board level design and development.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering complex hardware products, ideally covering one or more of the following: Single Board Computers, GPU Platforms, Networking Adapter Cards, Rugged Mil/ Industrial Spec Boards, Video/Graphics Boards.
- Project management experience in early-stage hardware prototyping through to outsourced manufacturing.
- A strong track record of building and scaling engineering teams.
- Experience of implementing engineering processes and test & validation systems.
- Previous experience of operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
- BSc/MSc in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
