The Role…
Internally known as a Zonal Leader, you\’ll take charge of driving apprenticeship sales and business growth across either the South Yorkshire or London area. This is a hands on, strategic role where you\’ll develop and deliver plans to engage employers, strengthen partnerships, and boost the uptake of Althaus Digital\’s IT and digital apprenticeship programmes.
We\’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, a love for connecting with people, and a genuine passion for digital transformation and skills development.
Key Responsibilties:
- Identify and secure new apprenticeship opportunities to meet and exceed sales and revenue goals.
- Create and execute a clear strategy to establish Althaus as the go-to apprenticeship provider in your region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry bodies, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of regional trends, competitor activity, and employer needs.
- Provide exceptional support to existing partners, ensuring long-term engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, talent, and delivery to deliver a seamless learner and client experience.
- Manage and optimise sales pipelines using HubSpot, ensuring accurate tracking and actionable insights.
- Represent Althaus at networking events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and services.
About You…
- Proven background in sales, business development, or employer engagement, ideally in apprenticeships or education.
- Solid understanding of UK apprenticeship standards and the wider skills landscape.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Comfortable using CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus).
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and commercially aware.
- Willingness to travel across your region as needed.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (with business insurance).
- A strong network of employer contacts within your region is a definite bonus.

What to expect during the process…
We want to ensure you\’re the right fit for us, and that we\’re the right fit for you Our process is designed to be relaxed yet insightful:
Stage 1:
A 30-minute Teams call with our Chief Operations Officer – this is all about fit and feel.
Stage 2:
An in-person interview at our office with our Head of Sales panel. This stage may also include am interactive interview activity to showcase your skills in action.
Important Information:
Please note this is a hybrid role and will occasionaly include travel to our Derby HQ.
