As Project Manager, you will take full lifecycle responsibility for the delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across the UK, from contract award through EPC delivery to commercial handover, operating at the intersection of technical delivery and commercial performance. This is a hybrid London-based role with exposure to international projects and stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of solar and storage projects through engineering, procurement, and construction phases
- Own project performance across cost, schedule, risk, and quality metrics
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors to deliver against programme, cost, and quality targets
- Manage commercial interfaces, including contract compliance, variations, and financial approvals
- Act as the central point of coordination across internal teams, EPC contractors, grid stakeholders, and external partners
- Take accountability for HSE and quality performance across all project phases
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes, tools, and delivery frameworks
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years’ experience delivering grid-connected Solar PV and/or BESS projects (construction phase exposure essential)
- Strong EPC project management experience with demonstrable ownership of delivery outcomes
- Solid commercial acumen, including budgeting, contract management, and financial oversight
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent advantageous)
- Comfortable operating autonomously within a lean, high-performing team
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not offered.
