About the Role:

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our AltGen UK team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in agency recruitment, loves the thrill of business development, and is ready to build something meaningful in the fast-growing renewable energy and sustainability space.

You will have the exciting responsibility of growing our UK client base by:

  • Owning candidate relationships: you\’ll be the go-to for top-tier talent across the sustainability and renewable energy markets
  • Driving business growth: identifying opportunities, winning clients, and becoming a trusted partner to some of the most exciting names in the industry
  • Delivering results: consistently hitting targets while never compromising on quality or integrity

Our ideal candidate is a seasoned 360 recruiter with proven success in an agency environment. Passionate about sales and business development, you love finding opportunities no one else sees. Obsessed with delivering exceptional candidate experiences. Self-motivated, outcome-focused, and always up for a challenge. A great communicator with strong commercial acumen and energy sector insight (bonus points for renewable energy or sustainability experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates to build a strong pipeline of talent
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with both clients and candidates
  • Drive business development efforts to identify new opportunities and expand our market reach
  • Utilise various sourcing methods, including LinkedIn, job boards, and industry networks, to find the best candidates
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to provide valuable insights to clients and candidates
  • Support the development of recruitment marketing materials and strategies to attract top talent
  • Work collaboratively in a remote team environment to reach the monthly goal

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, with a strong track record of successfully placing candidates in various roles
  • Demonstrated success in business development and client relationship management
  • Experience in the renewable energy and sustainability sectors is a strong advantage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills to manage multiple client and candidate relationships
