AltGen UK is looking for a highly organised, proactive Recruitment Coordinator to work closely with the Principal of the team and support our growing recruitment team. This role is for someone who loves being the engine behind the team, the person who keeps people aligned, processes moving, and priorities clear. We juggle a lot, move fast, learn constantly, and have fun along the way, but everything we do is anchored to one goal: putting more renewable energy on the grid, faster. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy bringing structure to complexity, and have an innate drive to do things better, smarter, and quicker, this role is for you. In this role, you’ll act as the link between people and process, enabling the Director and consultants to focus on high-impact recruitment delivery. From coordination and communication to data quality and continuous improvement, you’ll be the backbone of how the team operates. Please note that this role is based in Oxted.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition Strategy & Process: Own and manage all talent acquisition channels (job boards, LinkedIn, mapping projects). Ensure accuracy of all client information, job documentation, and agreements within the ATS.
- Database Management & Candidate Quality: Screen and evaluate incoming candidates, prioritising and routing efficiently. Maintain exceptional data quality: CV formatting, accurate coding, and up-to-date records. Collaborate with the global AltGen Admin team to improve database searchability and reduce time-to-fill. Manage third-party rechecks and vendor relationships.
- Delivery Quality & Communication: Ensure all external communications are professional, accurate, and on-brand, including CVs, job ads, emails, interview coordination, and content.
- Team Process & Record Management: Maintain team trackers (WIP, start dates, anniversaries, candidate and client milestones). Record, circulate, and follow up on meeting actions to ensure accountability. Track KPIs, timelines, and deliverables. Compile weekly and monthly reports to support leadership decision-making. Proactively flag risks to delivery timelines.
- Knowledge Management: Act as the custodian of all team data, ensuring information is current, structured, and accessible.
