Responsibilities

  1. Typical pre-sales activities include gaining understanding of customer\’s business and analysis of customer\’s system and product needs.
  2. Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions.
  3. Recognized subject matter expert with specialized knowledge in the function.
  4. Manages large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
  5. Coaches, reviews, and delegates work to lower level professionals.
  6. Influences others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
  7. Provides solutions to a variety of advanced complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
  8. May be the in-house expert on specific technologies or within the job function area.
  9. Determines and develops approach to solve functional area related issues.
  10. Regularly provides insight into complex issues and for complex department questions.
  11. Sets or participates in department goal setting.
  12. Provides direction for junior staff members.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Possess broad knowledge of professional field and other related functions.
  2. Has advanced technical knowledge and some knowledge in related disciplines.
  3. May possess a four-year college degree or additional relevant experience in a related field.
  4. Minimum 8 years functional experience including a minimum of 5 years position specific experience.
