Our client, a global leader in legal technology, operating in over 130 countries, is looking for an experienced Event Specialist to join their growing team in London – providing a top-tier client service by delivering exceptional and original events and entertainment functions. As the Event Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our North American marketing strategy, delivering flawless, high-touch events that strengthen community, drive engagement, and leave a lasting impact.
Core duties of the Event Specialist will include:
- Coordinating all logistics for a variety of enterprise events across North America, including executive dinners, networking events, and regional community meetups
- Supporting flagship events, ensuring smooth execution and high-quality attendee experiences
- Managing company presence at major legal technology conferences in the US and Canada, including booth setup, speaking session coordination, and related activities
- Overseeing the full attendee journey from invitations and registration to on-site support and post-event follow-up, ensuring a seamless, “white glove” experience
- Collaborating closely with the Events & Community Manager and US-based sales and marketing teams to align events with strategic objectives and pipeline goals
- Tracking event metrics, managing leads, and contributing to post-event analysis to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement
Skills and experience you will need for the Event Specialist role:
- 3–5 years of practical experience in event coordination or event marketing, preferably in a B2B or enterprise software setting
- Demonstrated ability to manage logistics for both intimate, high-end events and large-scale conferences
- Skilled in vendor negotiation, contract oversight, and budget management
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Availability to travel across the US and Canada for events (around 25–30% of the time)
- Familiarity with event management platforms (e.g., Cvent, Splash) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous
