The predicted salary is between 44663 - 44663 € per year.
The Surveyor/Auditor will report to the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager and will work within Network Operations based from our Letchworth office. You will be a permanent employee of the UK Power Networks team. You will attract a salary of £44,663 per annum - dependent on experience and a bonus of 3%.

Job Purpose:
The primary role of the Surveyor / Auditor is to undertake site-based audits on completed works by UK Power Networks staff and Contractors. We follow UK Power Networks policy, processes, and build specifications. The audit includes verifying data accuracy and completing as laid/as built drawing, Asset forms and associated site construction information.

Qualifications:
- Have an in-depth knowledge of UK Power Network design standards and procedures for overhead and underground network configurations.
- To be experienced and have in-depth knowledge in the field of low voltage, 11KV and 33KV overhead and underground construction methods and maintenance.
- UK Power Networks competency certificate.
- Familiar with UKPN IT devices and systems, specifically Network Records and ART processes.
- Complete self-risk assessments.
- Work on own and as part of a team.
- To be prepared to train and learn new skills to perform the full range of responsibilities.
- Work within their own team and developing wider working contacts.
- Current valid driving licence.
Customer:
- Communicate with Project Managers and Field Managers to ensure good working relationships.
- Communicate with other delivery functions to ensure the smooth running of Distribution Capital Delivery works.
- No Customer complaints.
Systems:
- Usage of electronic systems to order and return stock.
- Usage of electronic systems to request services for operating the site.

Similarly where work activities can have an adverse impact upon the environment, and where there are legal requirements, employees will understand those impacts and the controls they must ensure are applied. Employees need to be aware that for some craft and operational roles that work at height, or use fall arrest devices, there is an upper weight limit of 116Kg due to maximum safe working load of the safety equipment that is used. If in doubt ask!
