By focusing on specific industries, INFINIT delivers tailored, high-value solutions, while building innovative AI products to further unlock significant growth opportunities for our customers. INFINIT operates globally, with ambitions to further expand its footprint to redefine the fintech landscape for SMEs worldwide. Join us on the INFINIT journey as we revolutionise the SME economy and drive meaningful impact through innovation.
The role: As the Collection Lead at INFINIT, you will build our recovery engine from scratch. You will move us from manual processes to a scalable, automated machine that manages the entire lifecycle, from amicable prevention to asset repossession and legal enforcement. You will build the infrastructure that protects our capital while preserving our commercial relationships, working at the intersection of Operations, Legal, and Product to design a collection system that is rigorous on risk but "Customer Success" oriented.
What do we want to achieve together?
- Develop and implement collections strategies: Design and implement effective collections strategies and processes, including early intervention strategies, customer segmentation, and recovery workflows. Develop and maintain collection policies and procedures in compliance with all relevant regulations. Leverage technology and automation to streamline collection processes and improve efficiency.
- Run operations & manage asset risk: Manage the critical "early intervention" window, negotiating payment plans and settlements to resolve issues before legal action is needed, including implementing specific protocols to vehicle repossession and Sold Out of Trust (SOT) scenarios. Manage the transition to legal, handling file preparation for bailiffs and lawyers when amicable solutions fail. Define and track key performance indicators such as recovery rates, delinquency rates, and cost of collections. Analyze collections data to identify trends, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making. Help prepare regular reports on collections performance for senior management.
- Build outsourced collection capabilities and oversee relationships: Research, select, and onboard external partners specializing in debt and physical asset seizure across our geographies (FR, UK, ES). Monitor partner performance against SLAs to ensure efficiency and cost-control.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
- Experience: 2-3 years in B2B Collections or Credit Management. Experience in automotive, leasing, or asset-backed lending is a massive plus.
- You act with urgency and total accountability, treating every overdue euro as if it were your own money. You know that in recovery, speed is the difference between a full repayment and a write-off.
- You are tired of rigid legacy banks. You want to set up your own tools, draft your own policies, and use modern tech (Slack, Notion, Metabase).
- You are comfortable navigating insolvency proceedings and working with bailiffs/lawyers in at least one of our key markets (FR/UK/ES). You don’t need to code, but you love data.
