Team Overview: The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilization through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Role Overview: Due to continued growth we wish to integrate an Electrical Assembly Supervisor to support our electrical assembly production in our assembly facility located in Banbridge. This post is a permanent position and offers amazing opportunities for any successful candidate who wishes to gain experience within a progressive and dynamic company. The role will be based in Banbridge to ensure work and procedures are being carried out in a timely manner. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who can supervise, delegate work accordingly and support Project/Construction Managers on progress and advancements. Part of the role as Electrical Assembly Supervisor will be to manage electrical assembly teams and subcontractors, monitoring queries and non-conformances.
What You'll be Doing: The role involves overseeing and coordinating all electrical installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements, drawings, specifications, and BS 7671 standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Attending daily project meetings
- Supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors
- Planning and allocating labour resources
- Monitoring productivity
- Coordinating containment, cabling, and termination works
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Managing snagging processes
- Ensuring correct cable identification and torque recording
- Maintaining compliance with RAMS, permit systems, and isolation procedures
- Delivering toolbox talks
- Supporting commissioning and FAT activities
- Completing progress and productivity reports
- Managing material requirements
- Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards
- Liaising with subcontractors regarding installation plans and material availability
- Providing hands-on technical support to ensure safe, organised, and high-quality project delivery
