The Production team oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all manufacturing and assembly activities within our fabrication facilities. They ensure that bespoke mechanical and electrical components are produced efficiently, to the highest quality standards, and delivered on schedule. By maintaining streamlined workflows and close collaboration with design and project teams, the Production department plays a key role in supporting timely and successful project delivery.

Alternative Heat are seeking a highly organised and proactive Subcontractor Coordinator to manage and oversee the tendering and onboarding process for subcontractors within our Data Centre and Decarbonisation projects. This role will be responsible for end-to-end coordination of outsourcing packages of work, including sourcing, evaluating and onboarding subcontractors aligned with our project requirements and business objectives.

This role involves managing the full subcontractor tendering process from initiation to contract award, working closely with engineering, project management, and commercial teams to define scopes, timelines, and requirements. It includes issuing RFQs, evaluating technical and commercial submissions, and supporting final award decisions. The position also focuses on sourcing and onboarding new subcontractors through thorough due diligence checks, ensuring compliance with HSEQ, financial, and company standards. Strong relationship management is key, acting as the main point of contact for subcontractors throughout both tendering and execution phases. Additionally, it requires maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring legal and contractual compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement by enhancing subcontractor management processes and identifying opportunities for innovation.
