- Attention to detail — you’ll read and interpret drawings, fabricate to exact specifications, and maintain top-quality standards in a right-first-time environment.

What You'll be Doing:
- Take direction from Site Supervisor on work requirements.
- Read and fully understand the pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
- Fabricate and weld pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically stainless steel ranging from 65mm – 50 mm) from shop drawings.
- Ensure company welding procedures are adhered to and pipe preparation and fit up is carried out to the correct standard.
- Liaise regularly with Quality Control regarding any defects and any non-conformances.
- Complete Cross Training in various welding activities, so cover can be provided when absences occur in the Welding Department.
- Ensure Company H&S Processes followed.
- Ensuring allocated work progresses in a timely manner and in accordance with workload and specifications.
- To operate TIG welding equipment.
- Use precision measurement instruments.
- Use of metal cutting and grinding equipment.
- Responsible for highlighting any faults or damage to the machine and its tooling.
- Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Set an example to all personnel when on site.
