The Stores & Warehousing team manages the receipt, storage, and distribution of all materials and equipment required for our projects. By maintaining organised inventory control and efficient stock management, the department ensures that the right materials are available at the right time, supporting smooth project workflows and reducing delays. Their role is key to operational efficiency and effective supply chain management.
This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of M&E materials using articulated lorries and flatbed trailers. Deliveries are primarily between company sites in Banbridge, Scarva, Gilford, Mallusk, and Dundalk, with occasional deliveries to subcontractors across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The role requires a strong focus on safety, compliance, organisation, and teamwork.
What You’ll be Doing:
- Safely and professionally operate articulated lorries and trailers to transport materials between company sites and subcontractors, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy through daily inspections and accurate record‑keeping.
- Load, unload, secure, and strap materials in line with best practice, Health & Safety requirements, and UK/EU road transport regulations, while adhering strictly to drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive rules.
- Work closely with warehouse, site, production, and assembly teams to confirm schedules and loading requirements, report any issues or delays, support warehouse operations when needed, and represent the company professionally while carrying out additional reasonable duties as required.
