Team Overview

Our BIM (Building Information Modelling) team plays a vital role in delivering accurate, coordinated, and data-rich 3D models for use throughout the design, construction, and installation phases of our projects. Working closely with design engineers, project managers, and site teams, the department ensures that all mechanical and electrical services are fully integrated and clash-free prior to construction. This proactive approach helps reduce risk, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration across all stakeholders — ultimately supporting the successful delivery of high‑quality, bespoke MEP solutions.

Role Overview

As a CAD Technician, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career as a CAD Technician. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will learn how to use a range of computer‑aided design software, create technical drawings, and contribute to various design projects. This position is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in engineering and design and are eager to develop their skills under the guidance of a strong, multi‑disciplinary CAD Team. The CAD Team plays a key role in developing drawings from 3D CAD models ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), architectural and structural elements are accurately represented and meet the project’s specifications and standards.

What You’ll be Doing

The role involves developing accurate construction documentation by extracting and preparing 2D drawings—such as plans, sections, elevations, and details—from 3D models, while ensuring all components are properly annotated and categorised. It includes maintaining high quality control standards by checking models and drawings for accuracy and compliance with company guidelines. The position requires close collaboration with CAD, design, pre‑construction, manufacturing, and installation teams to ensure alignment with project requirements. Additionally, it offers a development‑focused environment, where the candidate will shadow experienced technicians and follow a structured plan to build skills in design processes and Revit 3D modelling.
