Team Overview: The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem-solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Role Overview: Due to continued growth we wish to integrate a Mechanical Assembly Supervisor to support our mechanical assembly production, in our assembly facility located in Banbridge. This post is a permanent position and offers amazing opportunities for any successful candidate who wishes to gain experience within a progressive and dynamic company. The role will be based in Banbridge to ensure work and procedures are being carried out in a timely manner. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who can manage, develop, delegate work accordingly and support the Assembly team on progress and advancements. Part of the role as Mechanical Assembly Supervisor will be to manage weekly production, forecast production, monitoring of queries, non-conformances and implement operational procedures. The role will also require the managing of Subcontractor / materials, machine maintenance and the development of the assembly facilities in Banbridge with advice and guidance on design requirements and specification.

What You'll be Doing: The role involves coordinating with project management, production, fabrication, subcontractors, and line managers to ensure projects progress safely, efficiently, and in line with agreed programmes, specifications, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing assembly subcontractors and workloads, allocating labour, monitoring productivity, developing team skills, reviewing drawings and materials, ensuring assembly procedures and torque requirements are followed, supporting FAT activities, and maintaining accurate progress and non-conformance reporting. The role also involves overseeing daily mechanical installation operations, managing resources and material shortages, maintaining 5S housekeeping and safe, organised plantrooms, and providing hands-on support and guidance to the assembly team as required.
