The Learning & Development (L&D) Department plays a vital role in equipping employees across all departments with the skills, knowledge, and support needed to perform at their best. The team is responsible for designing, delivering, and coordinating a wide range of training programs—from compliance and technical upskilling to onboarding and professional development.

The Compliance Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering high-quality technical and compliance training programmes across the Dundalk and wider Irish operations. The role will support workforce competency, operational safety, and technical capability by delivering both classroom and practical training aligned to company procedures, industry best practice, and applicable Republic of Ireland health, safety and environmental legislation.

The role will work closely with operational teams, project managers, and the wider Training & Development function to identify skills gaps, develop training solutions, and ensure employees are competent, compliant, and confident in their roles.

What You'll be Doing

  • Delivering high-quality compliance, safety and technical training across a range of operational subjects.
  • Providing practical instruction, onboarding and refresher training to employees.
  • Designing and improving training materials, SOPs, work instructions, assessments and competency frameworks.
  • Ensuring training reflects current industry standards and best practice.
  • Assessing employee competency and maintaining accurate training and certification records.
  • Monitoring compliance and working closely with Engineering, Projects, HSE, Learning & Development and external training providers.
  • Focusing on continuous improvement, evaluating training effectiveness, and recommending improvements to safety and operational practices.
  • Maintaining a high level of professional and technical competence.
