Job Purpose
To lead and direct a team in developing and delivering personâcentred service, manage resources to meet serviceâuser and contract outcomes, develop staff skills and knowledge for highâquality services, apply the tools of personâcentred planning, review and team development, and embed a qualityâassurance framework at a service level.

Principal Accountabilities
- Follow personâcentred principles in all areas of operation.
- Be responsible for assessment, planning, monitoring and review of individual support.
- Ensure appropriate information is captured, reported and analysed.
- Lead and manage staff to achieve high performance and standards.

- Manage staff recruitment, coâordination and deployment of resources efficiently.

- Organise and facilitate productive team meetings.
- Promote and nurture good practice.
- Ensure practice aligns with company policy, procedure and legislation.

- Manage reportable events appropriately and resolve them.

Essential Criteria
Experience:
- Significant experience of personâcentred planning and review.
- Significant experience supporting people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
- Significant experience of people management.
- Experience of leading and managing a staff team.
- Experience of undertaking staff supervisions and appraisals.
- Experience of partnership working.
- Experience of managing resources within an agreed budget.
- Experience of using IT systems in service and people management.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of equality and antiâdiscriminatory practices.
- Excellent time management with ability to plan and prioritise complex workload.
- Ability to inspire and drive personâcentred principles and practices.

Qualifications & Training:
- NVQ3 qualification in management or care (or equivalent) or willingness to complete within a set period.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call and unsocial hours.
- Willingness to work 7 days a week, including weekends.
