We are looking for a dedicated New Patient Nurse to play a vital role in our remote clinical team. In this unique position, you will conduct pre-assessment consultations with prospective patients, gathering key medical information to determine their suitability for medicinal cannabis treatment. This is an entirely remote role, providing a patient-focused work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct video based pre-assessment consultations with patients.
- Gather detailed medical histories, including current medications and family health backgrounds.
- Assess patient suitability for referral to Montu’s expert consultants.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Provide clear guidance to patients about the onboarding process and address any questions.
Qualifications, skills and experience
- A Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
- A degree in Nursing (UK-based qualification).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience working in telehealth or speaking to patients in remote settings is desired.
- Confidence in using digital platforms for remote consultations.
- A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.
