The role requires on‑site working during evenings and weekends in our Kings Cross London office. You will split your time between three days on‑site and two days working remotely.
What is the job? We are recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to join our London team. This is a hands‑on, patient‑focused role where you will play a critical part in prescribing and reviewing cannabis‑based medicines for patients with complex clinical needs. Your work will centre on delivering safe, effective and highly personalised treatment, supporting patients across a wide range of conditions.

You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team, contributing not only to outstanding patient outcomes but also to the development of clinical pathways, education initiatives, and service improvements. What will you be doing?
- Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
- Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
- Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
- Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries.
- Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
What do you need?
- GPhC registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
- At least 2 years prescribing experience.
- Experience working in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of CBPM is desired, not essential, or willingness to undergo specialised training.
- Clear and confident communicator across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
- Highly effective at managing time and prioritising competing demands.
- Proactive and resourceful when identifying and resolving problems.
- Well‑organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage complex workflows.
